This page says what happens to the data you send us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be filed by a lawyer.
1 · Who processes your data
The controller for this website is the Slovenian company. For robots working at customer sites the roles are split differently; that is described in section 5.
- Vandri Robotics, razvoj fizične inteligence, d.o.o., Gubčeva ulica 8, 3210 Slovenske Konjice, Slovenia
- Email for data questions: info@vandri-robotics.com
2 · When you send an enquiry
When you fill in the form or write to us, we process what you wrote plus a few technical fields the form sends with the message.
We do not ask for consent to answer you, and we do not need it. If you sent the enquiry, answering it is a step taken at your request before entering into a contract, which is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Where you write on behalf of a company and no contract may follow, the lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering a business question, which is Article 6(1)(f).
That is exactly why the form has no consent tick box. A box you have to tick before we are allowed to reply is not freely given, and therefore is not valid consent. A quiet line with a link to this page stands in its place.
We keep an enquiry while the conversation is live and then for 24 months after the last contact. After that it is deleted. If you want it deleted sooner, write and we delete it.
- Name, company or institution, email address.
- The message itself, meaning what you wrote.
- The language of the page and the page the message was sent from.
- The values from the presence calculator, if you used it, so we can answer your own numbers.
3 · Cookies and traffic measurement
Traffic measurement runs through Google Analytics and only starts once you allow it in the banner. Nothing runs before your choice.
You can change that choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. The banner then appears again.
- Necessary cookies: your cookie choice and the selected language. Always active, because the site does not work correctly without them.
- Traffic measurement: only with consent. IP addresses are truncated and we build no visitor profiles.
- There are no third-party advertising trackers on this site.
4 · Who we pass data to
We do not sell data and do not pass it on for third-party advertising. We do use external providers, without which the site and email would not work.
Some of those providers process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer rests on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The named list of processors and their locations is available on request.
- Hosting and delivery of the site.
- Sending the enquiry emails.
- The database where enquiries are stored.
- Traffic measurement, only with your consent.
5 · Robots at customer sites
This policy covers the website. For a robot working at a customer site the customer is the controller and we are the processor. What is processed, how long it is kept and who has access is written into the processing agreement for that deployment.
Some things hold everywhere and do not depend on the contract.
- We use no biometrics. The robot does not recognise faces and does not score emotions.
- The visitor is told they are talking to a machine.
- The voice layer runs with providers inside the EU.
6 · Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights over your data. Exercise them by email to the address in section 1; we answer within one month.
Because answering a business question rests partly on legitimate interest, you have the right to object. We honour an objection unless we have compelling grounds to continue, and those grounds have to be shown.
- Access to your data.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure.
- Restriction of processing.
- Portability.
- Objection to processing.
7 · Complaint to a supervisory authority
If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to a supervisory authority. You do not have to come to us first, although writing to us is usually faster.
- Slovenia: Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana.
- Croatia: Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka, Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb.
8 · Contact
For any question about data, write to the address below. A person answers, not a form.
- info@vandri-robotics.com
- Vandri Robotics, razvoj fizične inteligence, d.o.o., Gubčeva ulica 8, 3210 Slovenske Konjice, Slovenia
The robot supports staff and never replaces them. That is also why we process no data about which employee was where and when. Our work does not require it.
Enquiry
Tell us where the robot should stand.
Buying or renting, a shop or a trade fair. Two sentences are enough — we reply within two working days, by email, without a call.
