01 · What changes for you

Half past nine, a visitor arrives. There is nobody at the desk because half the team is in a meeting and the rest are out on the road. Every time, somebody gets up in the middle of their work to go and see who came.

The robot in the lobby is there all day. It greets the visitor, asks who they are here for, says which floor to go to and tells the host they are waiting. Until the host comes down, nobody is left standing alone in an empty lobby.

During the week the same robot is not only in the lobby. It carries post, samples and boxes between floors, and at an open day or a trade fair it stands with you and makes sure people stop at your table rather than the one next to it.

For the lobby we usually recommend a Lumen, because it stays in its place and everyone who walks in sees it. Where things also need carrying, a service robot with trays comes along. What it may say and what it may not is written down before we switch it on, so your legal team knows what is going on.

02 · What the robot can do in a company and an office

The visitor

It receives visitors when the desk is empty

A visitor arrives and reception is empty because the team is in a meeting. The robot greets them, says which floor to go to and tells the host they have arrived.

The screen shows what applies today

The agenda of a meeting, the programme of an event, a notice that the office has moved one floor up. We change it remotely and it is on the screen before the first visitor arrives.

It carries between floors

The post, samples and boxes somebody from the team carries today are taken over by the robot. Where the lift is connected, it calls the lift itself.

It drives among the desks on its own

Along corridors and between desks it drives slowly and gives way. When the battery runs low it goes to the dock; nobody chases it around the office.

Behind the scenes

It knows who you are expecting today

If you give us the calendar, it announces the visitor to the right person instead of ringing down the list. It also records how many visits there were and when; we do not record faces.
