On 14 October 2026 we presented Lumen 55, our holographic AI robot, at the Social Innovation Festival 2026 at Center Rog in Ljubljana. The festival was organised by the Competence Centre for Social Innovation (KCDI) as part of the SEED2SCALE project, co-financed by the European Social Fund+.
The festival brought together social enterprises and cooperatives, start-ups, NGOs, municipalities, ministries, academia and funders. The programme included opening addresses, a keynote by Finnish expert Mika Pyykkö, panel discussions on social innovation practice, a fair of working solutions and a presentation of financing mechanisms.
Among the visitors who met Lumen 55 and talked with it were Marko Lotrič, President of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia, and Leon Korošec, MSc, State Secretary at the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport.
Social innovation is about solutions that respond to real needs of people and communities, such as an ageing population, staff shortages and access to services. Lumen 55 combines a holographic display with conversational AI, so it can welcome and guide visitors and answer their questions. That leaves staff more time for the work that needs a human touch.
We thank KCDI for the invitation and everyone who stopped by to meet Lumen 55.
