We are hiring.
Three positions.

01

Humanoid Robotics & Autonomous Systems Developer

Make our humanoids more autonomous: motion, spatial perception and navigation.

We have two Unitree G1 humanoids, Jože and Tonka, who appear at trade fairs, events and customer sites. At every event they are accompanied by our operator. Your job is to make them more autonomous: find their way around a space, approach visitors on their own and operate safely among people.

What you will do

  • Develop motion and navigation for the Unitree G1 humanoids.
  • Connect cameras and the laser scanner (LiDAR) to the robot decision making: where it is, who is in front of it, where it can go.
  • Build behaviours for events: greeting, approaching a visitor, gestures during conversation.
  • Take care of safety: the robot stops in time, steps aside and stays out of where it should not go.
  • Test at our office at Stegne and at real events.
  • Document what you build so the team can use it on every robot.

Required

  • Basic robotics, programming, automation or computer science.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • You enjoy problems that have no answer online.

02

Robotics Field Engineer, humanoid and service robots

Deploy robots at customer sites and events: system integration, testing, troubleshooting and user training.

You bring the robot to the customer and make sure it works there. You deploy service robots and Lumen robots in shops and companies, and humanoids at events. When something goes wrong, you are the first to fix it and the one who makes sure it does not happen again.

What you will do

  • Set up the robot at the customer: map of the space, network, integration with their systems.
  • Prepare a humanoid for an event, bring it there and stay with it on site.
  • Train the customer staff so they can use the robot on their own.
  • Fix issues remotely and on site, and take care of regular maintenance.
  • Write down recurring issues and get them fixed for good with the development team.
  • The role includes travel in Slovenia and the region, and occasional weekends.

Required

  • Technical background in robotics, mechatronics, electronics, IT or automation.
  • Hands-on problem solving, also under time pressure.
  • Good communication: you talk to customers yourself.

03

AI Developer

Build the conversational side: how the robot listens, understands and answers people and businesses.

Our robots talk to people in more than 60 languages. You make sure they do it well: hear in a noisy shop or trade fair, understand the question and answer correctly, from the knowledge of the company they stand in.

What you will do

  • Develop the real-time spoken conversation of the robot: listening, understanding, answering.
  • Connect the robot to company knowledge: documents, offer, schedules.
  • Build tools that let the robot do something, not only answer, for example show the way to a department.
  • Keep the conversation fast and smooth, in several languages and in noisy spaces.
  • Measure how well the robot answers and improve it systematically.

Required

  • Basic AI, software development, computer science or data science.
  • Logical thinking.
  • Curiosity: you try a new model before you read opinions about it.

What you get

A small team, real robots.

  • Work with real humanoid and service robots, not a simulation.
  • Your code runs on robots that work at customer sites and events.
  • A small team where an idea quickly becomes a working solution.
  • Pay that grows with your contribution.

Frequent questions

Before you apply

Where will I work?

In our office at Stegne 21 in Ljubljana. The field engineer also works at customer sites and events.

Do I need work experience?

We do not require work experience, but we do require knowledge. We expect the basics listed under “Required”, from your studies, your own projects or work. An interest in robots alone is not enough, but it is a good start.

What should I send?

Your CV and a few sentences about yourself: what you know, what you have built and why this position interests you. No motivation letter needed.

Can I send my own projects?

Yes, and we recommend it. A link to your code, portfolio or a video of something you built says more than a CV.

Can I apply for more than one position?

Yes. Name all the positions you are interested in in the subject line.

What happens to my application?

We keep applications only for this selection and delete them afterwards, unless you allow us to keep them for future openings.
